Beer Links
Our suggestions for further exploration, and enjoyment, of the world of beer.

All About Beer - The site name, like the magazine name, says it all. Julie & Daniel Bradford and crew cover the beer news in America and the world.

Bistrot Belgique Gourmande - Occoquan, VA is the site of this Belgian-style café serving authentic Belgian dishes and a broad range of Belgian beers. We visit too infrequently, but Daniele, Steve and Claire make every visit a pleasure. Reservations recommended, especially on moules & frites nights!

BeerAdvocate - Independent reviews of beer (descriptions only, no ratings), by Jason and Todd Alstrom, homebrewers and writers for Yankee Brew News. Reviews "aim to be concise and to the point in hopes that everyone, from the drinking impaired to a master brewer, will understand what we are tasting."

Broughton Ales - Visit the Scottish Borders for more history and information on the Beers With Character from this family owned brewery—Old Jock Ale, Merlin's Ale, and Black Douglas Ale

O'Hanlon's - At Great Barton Farm in Whimple, Devon, John O'Hanlon hand crafts traditionally-brewed beers that champion natural flavors using the finest possible ingredients. The three currently available from Phoenix include Original Rye Beer, Double Champion Wheat Beer, and The Original Ruby Stout.

The Brew Chef - Tim Schafer is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, and one of the nation's foremost authorities on cooking with beer. You can enjoy his delicious efforts at Tim Schafer's Cuisine, Cooking with Passion, in Morristown, NJ. We highly recommend it!
